Grupo Catalana Occidente wanted to unify its traditional business brands — Seguros Catalana Occidente, Plus Ultra Seguros, Seguros Bilbao and Norte Hispana Seguros — and needed to express that through a new name. A name that is far more strategic than creative, because we believe a brand cannot simply change; it has to evolve.
Occident captures the essence of the original brand, makes it leaner and more global, with a form that works equally in English and in Catalan. A move grounded in common sense and deep respect.

To launch the new brand internally, we created an internal campaign featuring employees from all the group’s companies as its protagonists.
